What sets Neptune Township EMS apart?
Neptune Township EMS’ approach to training is progressive and forward-focused. In fact, when a new training intervention is passed by the State Department of Health, Neptune EMS is one of the first EMS companies to incorporate it into its training.
Do I have to have EMT experience in order to join?
Absolutely not! Neptune will provide the training you need in order to become an EMT.
Will I get paid?
Volunteers do not receive financial compensation, but the experience of saving lives is priceless. Our volunteers do receive other perks and benefits as detailed in our Why Volunteer page.
How much time do I need to spend volunteering?
As much time as you are willing to donate. Neptune Township EMS recognizes that its volunteers have other priorities and is appreciative of any amount of time donated toward protecting the community.
Do I have to volunteer year round?
No, you volunteer and train with us whenever you are in Neptune. We have plenty of seasonal members who volunteer during the summer time.
Can high school students join?
Yes, high school students ages 16 and older can join as cadet members.
Do I have to be an EMT to join?
No! Join us as a support member and discover how much fun it is to assist with community outreach, special events and fundraising.
